Déjà vu already seen"; also called paramnesia , from Greek παρα para, "near" + μνήμη mnēmē, "memory") is the experience of feeling sure that one has witnessed or experienced a new situation previously (an individual feels as though an event has already happened or has repeated itself). The term was coined by a French psychic researcher, Émile Boirac (1851–1917) in his book L'Avenir des sciences psychiques (The Future of Psychic Sciences), which expanded upon an essay he wrote while an undergraduate. The experience of déjà vu is usually accompanied by a compelling sense of familiarity, and also a sense of "eeriness", "strangeness", or "weirdness". The "previous" experience is most frequently attributed to a dream, although in some cases Or A precognitive dream is one in which future events yet to happen appear in Well now that I know what it is called...the next question is why? but i did go on tickle.com to check out my bloody pregoniton/dejavu ability. So i took the test and here are the results: Hunyum, when it comes to psychic abilities, you have an unusually strong talent
Has it ever happened with you? Have you seen something in your dreams and it has actually happened? I have been getting those for a long time now but they seem to be getting quite frequent now. I dont have the serious dreams in which i might see anyone getting hurt or anything really bad happening to a person, but still it makes me feel weird. I mean i ahve seen 2 COMPLETE films even before they made, i ahve talked to people i have never met before, i have seen a WHOLE desperate hosuewives episode of the fourth season when only the second season was on. I ask is myself: what?. well I looked around the net to see what was actually happening and i found a few things.
there is a firm sense that the experience "genuinely happened" in the past. The experience of déjà vu seems to be very common among adults and children alike; in formal studies 70% of people report having experienced it at least once. References to the experience of déjà vu are also found in literature of the past, indicating it is not a new phenomenon. It has been extremely difficult to evoke the déjà vu experience in laboratory settings, therefore making it a subject of few
empirical studies. Recently, researchers have found ways to recreate this sensation using hypnosis
dream state, and later, those events do indeed come to pass. I am not talking
about Déjà vu, where you get the feeling that you have been somewhere, or done
something before, but rather, I refer to dream state occurrences, that
accurately manifest at a future date.
So far i havent really found the answer to that. Internet doesnt help that much sometimes.
in the area of Precognition.
This means you have an uncanny ability to look into the future and know ahead of time what is going to happen. You might, for instance, simply know that you're going to get that job before the interview even happens with a certainty that exceeds what you would expect to have simply
knowing the facts of the situation. You might have a sense of dread before going out for the evening only to later have a flat tire on your way home. These little hunches are easy to ignore but for you especially, quite often lead to a true prediction of what is going to happen. These predictions can be used to generate positive outcomes, and the more you know about how to use your talent, the more you will be able to distinguish between fantasy of the future and an actual reality you are seeing happen, before it has actually happened. While your strongest psychic talent is Precognition, Tickle also analyzed your psychic strengths in:
Retrocognition: The ability to know what happened in the past.
Clairvoyance: The ability to "see" the unknown.
Remote viewing: The ability to see physical objects at a distance.
Telepathy: The ability to tune into others' thoughts. So here it is....im officially weird.
Hi Hunyum!
This is Tanvi from Mumbai. I came across the link to your blog on the Jal forums. And boy, I must say, I'm impressed. And intrigued. A look into your world has revealed striking similarities between you n me... Fascination with flight, skies, tomboyishness (might be mistaken there), water, Jal, Harry Potter mania, reading tastes in general, deja vu, and I must say, even the writing style. I'd be glad if you pinged me. I wouln't want to pass up a chance to make friends with someone like me. Of course that's entirely upto you.
In the meantime, check out my blog too... www.tanviprakash.blogspot.com. Maybe it's not much and as old as yours, but, well..
Hit me back.
Tanvi.
